2008 Journal of Cross Border Studies launched by Irish Education Minister Mary Hanafin

The 2008 Journal of Cross Border Studies in Ireland was launched in Dublin by Mary Hanafin TD, the Minister for Education and Science, on 12 March. It contains articles about the trade unions and North-South cooperation; a new tourism brand for the island of Ireland; the role of teacher educators in North-South cooperation; modelling all-island hospital accessibility; local cross-border cooperation in the border counties; and lessons from an institute for cross-border cooperation on the German-French border. The cover features a photo by the internationally renowned Northern Irish artist-photographer Paul Seawright.
