Pride of Our Place: Phase II - Conference

20 January 2005, AmmA Centre, Armagh
& 21 January 2005, Education Centre, Monaghan

The primary purpose of Phase 2 is to engage teachers and pupils in focussed studies of elements of their local environments and the environments of their partner schools so as to promote mutual understanding, awareness of cultural, social and religious backgrounds to environments in their own localities and their partner school’s locality.

The objective is to enrich the professional development of teachers by:

  • Exploring and sharing best practice
  • Engaging in activity-based learning experiences
  • Engaging in shared planning and review
