I applaud the Director, Andy Pollak, and his team on a tremendous record of achievement over well nigh 12 years. Pages 112-173 of the Journal, on the Centre’s work, show just how far-reaching and significant is its range and how it touches on areas so relevant to the quality of our future on the island. I saw this at first hand through my involvement for several years in a highly innovative programme it ran for the training of personnel engaged in cross-border policy or operations. The Centre’s Journal typifies the quality of excellence which the Centre brings to all that it does. Beautifully produced, a pleasure just to handle but, most important of all, a treasure chest of highly readable articles written to the highest professional standards.
