North/South Co-operation on Tourism: A Mapping Study

A mapping study, drawn up in early 2000, to inform the discussions of the Centre for Cross Border Studies’ specialist Study Group on existing co-operation, and the scope for further co-operation, between organisations in the two Irish jurisdictions around the tourism and hospitality industries in Ireland.

The mapping study, based primarily on a brief period of desk research, does not pretend to be a definitive document: it is a tour d’horizon seeking to identify the main issues and the principal agencies. It deals with structures, organisations and processes, rather than with the situation of particular sectors at the present juncture
